Fairy

Fairies are found in many lands across many planets. Their exact origin is unknown, but they certainly have close connections to the Fey. They are considered to be of the Vamarii, being neither Lomarii or Dowmarii.

Fairies are tiny humanoids standing at only 4" – 6" inches tall and weighing a mere 6 – 10 ounces. They are very slim, with long, spindly limbs and gossamer wings. They come in a variety of colors, mostly greens and blues, although yellows and lighter purples are only slightly uncommon. Red and violet fairies are extremely rare. They glow with the color of their skin. They have wispy silver hair that seems to take on the color of their skin as a result of their glowing aura. Their ears are slim and pointed, and their eyes are generally a richer hue of their skin color, lacking pupils, although occasionally a fairy’s eyes will be of a different color. Fairies have no facial or body hair. Fairies mature more quickly than the larger races, and are fully mature after only 7 years. However, once they mature they cease to age, and live to be over 800 years old.

Fairies love trickery, though not the kind with a malicious intent. For this reason though, they are often seen as pests. Their culture reveres the practice of magic as well as communion with nature. Typically, fairies care little for material wealth, but have a strong fascination with magical artifacts. Smart and nimble, fairies make skilled wizards and rogues.
